Challenges for the Project
In Shiyan NCS Logistics Park, the volume of incoming goods is large and the supply is concentrated. And low level of automation, digitization, and informatization in receiving, storing, dismantling, picking, and outgoing warehouses leads to unreasonable walking path, high personnel dependence, high work intensity and low operation efficiency, large data processing volume, high commodity sorting error rate, and poor delivery punctuality, which makes warehouse operation and management process complex and the logistics cost high.
Solution
The efficient automatic conveying and sorting system Damon has planned consists of i-G5 smart box conveyor, high-speed slider sorter, five-sided barcode scanning equipment, and DPS zero removal. Picking system, and other core equipment. As the core subsystem of the new cooperative logistics warehouse and distribution center, the system has successfully realized the functions of dismantling and picking, FCL transportation, review and packaging, route sorting, fast delivery, and information processing. The cargo volume of directly-passing commodities is large, and the supply of suppliers is concentrated, which is a major test for flat warehouses, which is mainly based on the sorting operation mode using manual hydraulic stackers, forklifts, and manual searching of goods. In this project, Damon has planned the application of modern logistics equipment such as high-speed automated conveyor and sorting equipment, telescopic belt conveyors, automated loading and unloading equipment, automated robotic arms, and DPS electronic label picking system, reducing the work intensity of employees and effectively improving work efficiency

The project guarantees a daily average processing capacity of more than 72,000 pieces, which is more than 10 times the current logistics efficiency. In this project, Damon has provided a set of intelligent system including box conveyor, vertical conveyor, and high-speed sorting modules. The multi-zone, multi-story and cross-warehousing coordinated transportation of the stereoscopic warehouse area, the dense warehouse area, the flat warehouse area and the mezzanine floor of the logistics center are implemented by the i-G5 Conveyor Platform.
